Chlorella, the tiny little gem worth knowing about.
It is a wonderful food supplement.
I often prescribe chlorella to my clients, it is a superb green in its purest form.
It is a fresh water Algae that has been around for over 2 billion years. It’s hardy due to its strong cell walls. That is why it survived for so long.
It is empowered by the sun, just like clay.
However it was discovered by scientists in Japan, that the cell walls had to be cracked in order for the goodness to come through. And for it to be assimilated.
You will notice on the pots or packets that it will say, ‘broken cell wall’ or similar.
Often added to a detox regime. It is a popular food supplement and best taken ‘As a green on its own’.I take it all the time as the onslaught of toxins is rife on a daily basis living in a big city. I find It helps me with my health condition. I have all my kids take it too. And is great for the skin and hair and an additional bonus, your colon likes it!
With many super greens on the market, the downside is that as they can contain as many as a dozen types of greens, there maybe one or two that you are allergic to, so that defeats the object.
Of course of you are taking a mixed supergreen that agrees with you carry on. I have found too much wheatgrass can be, well, a bit too much. However, taking it as part of a detox could be ok in the short term.
Chlorella has a long list of health benefits.
- It is good source of protein. Has an array of the Vit. B family, including B12. As well as many important minerals and vitamins.
- It is a bit like the drinking that green clay I wrote about in ‘the earth on which we Live’, the power of which can never be explained until it is tried. Like clay, it is also said to move heavy metals from the system.
- In other words it is a clean little thing, a round single-cell algae, very high in chlorophyll and a lovely useful little gem that should be part of everybody’s regime.
