What does detox really mean?

WHAT … DOES DETOX REALLY MEAN?

IT IS SO FASHIONABLE TO TALK ABOUT IT. WE HEAR IT EVERYWHERE.

Is it Colonic Irrigation that brings that detox we all want. Can it really help?

Did you know that the bowel is responsible for nearly all our health conditions.

So many expensive products all claiming the fabulous way back to health.

Can colon cleansing also help the toxic and fuzzy mind?

Is there such a thing as a normal or even healthy colon?
Has anybody seen one lately?

NORMAL definitely NOT HEALTHY

In my experience I have not found one really normal one.
It does not exist.

Sickly, twisted, spastic, lazy, hyperactive, ballooned, nervous, windy.

A lot of this is to do with our diet of course, whether it is the ‘fast foods’ of today’s generation,

The fatty foods consumed during times of war, or the carnivorous exploits of our ancient forefathers.

The fact is, the bowel nearly always has “a cause for complaint”.

From congestion to obstruction, from excessive gas to fermentation, it all gets locked in to the accommodating bowel. Until one day!!

Well, you may ask, ’how come we are not aware of these fermentations and blockages’? ‘Like everything else in life we get used to being in a certain state and accept is as normal’. We make do.

Some people think it is normal to go to the bathroom several times a night as well as numerous times during the day. This is normal for them, but it is not ‘normal’ and it is also boring. At night it breaks up your sleep, and during the day it is inconvenient to have to go to the bathroom when out and about or at important meetings. Next time you are on a long haul, with nothing to do, just observe how many people go continuously to the bathroom. If you observe well, you will see that they are the ones who consume salt with everything, drink fizzy drinks and of course, if they are able, have loads of free alcohol.

‘What has all this to do with the bowel’ you cry?

Everything!! All our important organs develop from the colon while we grow in the womb, so if our colons have problems than it has a knock on effect on the entire system.

“Detoxification”

Is such a big word you hear it everywhere, people walk into the clinic and say; ‘I’m on a detox, so I thought it would be a good idea to have a clear out’.

If only it was that simple.

What is a detox? What does it mean? Think about what and how you eat! How do we pollute the world and ourselves?

Some think it’s enough to just cut out bread, others go to another extreme and come in looking green from the famous self administered ‘liver-flush’. Everybody tries in his or her own way to be healthier and those with plenty of money will also try every single remedy touted on the Internet. That is just another form of toxicity.

It is not easy, we are battling against toxins in a world where everything is toxic.

Every person that eats and breathes needs colonics. Food which is not digested ferments and produces litres of gas that form pockets in the bowel, causing bloating, discomfort and brain-fog.. Some foods produce more gas than others and some people are allergic to certain foods that set up inflammation in the bowel, creating excess mucous.

Very few people today have an enzyme system that actually works. The food is not digested well. Very few people have sufficient beneficial bacteria in their bowel to help protect themselves from invaders such as the dreaded candida. Top this with alcohol, fizzy drinks and…

Colonics can only be of benefit to our system, as we unwittingly hold on to and carry around with us kilos mental and physical toxins. The brain-bowel connection is a well-known fact.

We get marvellous results with most bowel problems some of which are related to stress as well as dietary excesses. Just a few small adjustments, step by step, can turn a condition around. You have got to work with it. Love your colonics and your body will love you.
